Lee Newman III
PT, MPT, Cert. MDT, OCS, FAAOMPT
Lee Newman is a 2001 graduate of the University of Mississippi Medical Center with over 24 years of outpatient clinical experience. He currently serves as Clinic Director at Elite Physical Therapy in Brandon, Mississippi, and as Regional Clinical Excellence Coordinator for the Central Mississippi region. In addition to his leadership roles, he is faculty for the Upstream Rehab Institute Orthopaedic Residency and mentors in the Manual Therapy Fellowship program, while also pursuing his Doctor of Science in Physical Therapy at Bellin College. Lee is an Orthopaedic Certified Specialist (OCS) and a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapists (FAAOMPT), with additional certifications in dry needling and the McKenzie Method of Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy (Cert. MDT). He is passionate about evidence-based practice, lifelong learning, and mentoring the next generation of clinicians, and outside of work he values time with his wife and two children, often on the soccer field with his family.
