JJ Junkin


PT, DPT

Dr. JJ Junkin is an instructor with Upstream Rehab Institute and a clinic director/physical therapist practicing in Oregon City, OR. She is an instructor for the musculoskeletal and dry needling courses in both the URI Orthopaedic Residency and continuing education programs. Dr. Junkin obtained her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from St. Augustine University – San Diego campus. She has graduated from URI’s Orthopaedic Residency and has achieved board certification in orthopaedics (OCS), certification in dry needling and is recognized as Manual Therapy Certified. Dr. Junkin completed the URI Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapy fellowship program and is recognized as a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapists. She is a long time clinical instructor and serves as a mentor to new graduate physical therapists, orthopedic residents and fellows-in-training. Dr. Junkin also serves as adjunct faculty for the University of St. Augustine in orthopedic lab coursework.
