This course utilizes the manual therapy model with implementation of instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization for assessment, treatment, and re-assessment of musculoskeletal dysfunction. This course will be lab intensive with emphasis on soft tissue injury and healing, anatomy, palpation, and clinical decision making. This course will cover the history, theory, research, and treatment effects on soft tissue and function with the use of instrument assisted soft tissue tools. A variety of tools will be demonstrated during this course. This course does not have any prereading materials. Please bring a pair of athletic shorts and a sport top to this course.
