This course is delivered through a combination of asynchronous learning modules and live virtual lectures and focuses on three core areas of clinical decision making: information synthesis, differential diagnosis, and progression through the plan of care. Participants will develop clinical reasoning skills to systematically evaluate patient presentations through comprehensive examination and screening processes and identification of red and yellow flags. Emphasis is placed on evidence-based decision-making, the use of classification frameworks and outcome measures, and the development of individualized, patient-centered plans of care.
- Clinical reasoning frameworks and decision-making strategies
- Conducting effective subjective examinations and patient screening
