
This course is a lecture/lab based course with a variety of practical, clinical applications. This course focuses on a framework to make and execute clinical decisions in a busy clinical environment, based on solid examination and treatment skills. The course covers physiologic mechanisms and the principles behind clinical reasoning skills, clinical examination skills, manual therapy, and exercise integration. We will practice the skills of differential diagnosis of the musculoskeletal system and highlight other contributing factors that can impact a patient’s progress, including visceral disease, chronic pain mechanisms, and patient engagement.
