What to Expect

At IAMT, we offer a range of Manual Therapy Certification courses and Specialty Treatment courses designed and taught by leading practitioners. The treatments we teach are evidence based, practical and hands on. The focus we place on the clinical examination process means that through improved diagnosis, you can make better use of the various skills you have developed through study, experience and excellence in practice while ultimately improving patient outcomes.

Upon registering for a course you will receive an immediate notification with your payment confirmation, date and location.

Prior to your course
Prior to the course you will receive a reminder containing all of the details pertaining to the course. This reminder may also contain information regarding suggested attire for the course and parking information from the host venue.  Some courses may require a moderate level of preparation. When applicable, you will be prompted to view on-line videos and pre-reading resources so that you arrive on the day fully versed, and ready to learn new skills and techniques in our lab based sessions. Upon request we will also be happy to provide you with travel and accommodation information such as local hotels and nearest airport.

All courses are a combination of both lecture and lab taught by expert senior clinicians and instructors with the majority of the time spent preforming hands-on examinations and treatments.  You will be provided with all of the necessary materials required to meet the objectives of the course. There will be adequate lab time to practice all of the techniques with a lab partner. In order to have the necessary examination and treatments/techniques performed on you during the course, proper attire will be required.
