Stephen trained at the University of Queensland, Australia, graduating in 1994. In his extensive career, he has worked in private practice and hospital settings in Australia, Ireland, the United Kingdom and the United States. Stephen has gained his credentials as an Orthopedic Specialist by the American PT Association. He is Maitland trained and has lectured at the University of Queensland and the Queensland University of Technology. Stephen has broad experience in orthopedic, sports and occupational health physical therapy. He has a particular interest in education, injury management and manual therapy, and he has developed a niche role in education and mentoring. He has become a part of the IAMT education team, teaching and helping develop the trigger point dry needling and Dynamic taping curricula. Stephen is an excellent exponent of the TDN approach, utilizing it in a sports medicine and direct access caseload in the clinic he manages in downtown Nashville. He balances a busy caseload as a senior therapist with his teaching roles at Results Physiotherapy and IAMT.
