Michael is an Australian Musculoskeletal and Manipulative Physiotherapist. He graduated with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy in 2003 from the University of Queensland, Australia.
In 2009, Michael completed a further two years of study to graduate with a Postgraduate Masters of Physiotherapy in the field of musculoskeletal physiotherapy at the same University. This was a significant achievement and a step forwards in his clinical pathway in becoming a Specialist in the field.
Michael has recently relocated to the USA; prior to this he consulted at one of Australia’s major tertiary hospitals. Here he provided expert diagnosis and case management of patients with complex musculoskeletal conditions referred to the Orthopaedic and Neurosurgery Specialist Outpatients Department.
Prior to consulting, Michael predominantly provided healthcare within various Private Practices within Australia and London. Michael has been involved in providing physiotherapy to a wide variety of people, including adults, children, athletes and the elderly. Michael has a special interest in spinal pain and rehabilitation of spinal muscle control, and thoracic and neck movement disorders.
He is a very much a hands-on physiotherapist and augments his treatment with a variety of exercise to help promote movement performance.
