Michael is a Fellow of the Australian College of Physiotherapy and a Specialist Sports Physiotherapist. He is currently team Physiotherapist for the AFL Port Adelaide Football Club and consultant Physiotherapist to the Australian Dance Theatre. He is also an adjunct lecturer at the University of South Australia and an invited speaker for sports physiotherapy and sports medicine professional bodies in Australia. His current appointments include annual lectures regarding the Assessment and Management of Athletic Groin Pain for the Level Three Sports Physiotherapy Australia Course based at the Australian Institute of Sport, Canberra, and lectures regarding the Incidence and Management of Injuries in the AFL, the Management of Soft Tissue Injuries and End Stage Rehabilitation in Athletes for the University of South Australia. Michael also continues to work in private practice as a practice principal of the Mitcham Rehab Clinic, Adelaide, South Australia.
