Heather graduated from the University of Cape Town in South Africa, with her BSc in Physiotherapy in 1993. She has worked in various settings since graduation including in-patient care, out-patient orthopedics, as well as being the physical therapist for a State rugby team in South Africa. Heather received her Certification in Manual Therapy (COMT) in 1997, and was awarded her Orthopedic Clinical Specialist in 2002 (recertified in 2012). In 2006, Heather completed her fellowship training, and received her designation of ‘Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapists’ (FAAOMPT). She recertified for her FAAOMPT in 2016. Heather has been teaching manual therapy to physical therapists across the US since 2001.
Heather is currently working at Results Physiotherapy in the Raleigh-Durham region as the District Clinical Quality Leader. She is active in patient care, and spends much of her time mentoring and guiding physical therapists towards clinical excellence. She is passionate about patient care and superior outcomes, and is constantly striving to provide patients with the world class treatments they deserve
